The Retreat at Center Hill Lake offers warm welcomes to all, and goes above and beyond in serving your mind, body and soul. As a Timothy Hill Retreat Center, we offer beautiful environments and outdoor recreation opportunities where individuals and groups can get away from the busyness of their day-to-day lives, and find refreshment and renewal.

Overlooking Center Hill Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the state, the Retreat at Center Hill Lake is situated amid 139 acres near Smithville, Tennessee.

Approximately one hour from Nashville and two hours from Knoxville, the Retreat is for those individuals, families and groups who want to spend time being adventurous, growing together, or simply relaxing. Our campus combines a Lodge with beautiful suites, and cabins that are perfect for families. While all rooms are equipped with kitchens, the catering and conference center can help meet whatever needs you or your group may have.

With access to 600 acres of hiking trails, more than 30 hidden lake coves to explore, swimming, boating and year-round fishing all available on the lake, the Retreat is a great getaway for the outdoor explorer. If you just want to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, the Retreat is the perfect place to chillax! Keep your camera ready for a shot of some of our wildlife that is frequently spotted exploring our campus.

The Retreat also hosts corporate groups and churches. Our unique lake front location creates as a regional retreat center location of choice for churches through family camps, marriage weekends and spiritual formation retreats.
